Central High School is an innovative charter school deeply committed to student success. As a full-service high school focused on college/career readiness, we prepare students for post-secondary education or the world of work. Our small class sizes promote the development of student-staff relationships that foster an atmosphere of caring and respect. Central High School's curriculum offers individual options, including project-based learning, traditional classes, a flexible schedule, including an extended day before and after school program, and summer credit recovery. In addition, our early college model supports student achievement, college readiness skills, and application procedures. Students at Central are allowed to take on- and off-site courses for college credit at Lakeshore Technical College, earning credits and certificates concurrently with high school credits.
