Position:Science Teacher (9-12) @ NCS Digital Requested by: Angie Adkins Approved by: Barbara Quackenbush Qualifications/Requirements: Applicant must: hold valid Ohio High School certificate/license for Life Science or Integrated Science 7-12 be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student have knowledge and/or experience teaching a variety of levels of high school Life Science be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the high school student use data to drive instruction be able to differentiate instruction to all high school learners collaborate with colleagues to integrate multiple disciplines have interest in and willingness to work with students in co- or extra-curricular activities have evidence of successful classroom management skills and instructional skills have experience with team teaching or knowledge of team teaching activities incorporate technology into the classroom be willing to teach intervention skills outside of Life Science be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Life Science standards have interest in students beyond the classroom be acceptable to Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel
