Science Teacher (Chemistry)
Syosset High School
Available on August 25, 2026
The Syosset Central School District seeks a leave replacement Chemistry Teacher for Syosset High School. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Hold Dual NYSED certifications in Chemistry (7-12) required
Experience teaching science research and/or research lab experience a plus
Prior successful experience teaching Chemistry
Knowledge of the NYS Science Framework and Learning Standards
Expertise in differentiated instruction to support the success and growth of all students
Possess innovative skills using instructional technology
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff
Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
