Duties Position Overview Marian Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Science teacher with a concentration in Chemistry and Environmental Science who is interested in joining our school community during the 2026-2027 school year which is a Catholic coeducational college preparatory high school within the Dominican tradition of study prayer community and preaching.

Job Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development. Assess student learning through a variety of methods e.g. quizzes tests projects observations and provide timely and constructive feedback. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. Collaborate with colleagues administrators and support staff to ensure student success. Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with parents guardians. Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Contribute positively to the overall school community.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field required. Valid state teaching certification required. Proven experience in teaching high school students preferred. Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong classroom management and discipline skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Passion for student learning and a commitment to professional growth. Proficiency in using technology in the classroom.
