Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines. • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. • Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and styles. • Assessment: Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student success. • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional learning and participate in school initiatives. • Community Involvement: Foster relationships with the community to enhance educational opportunities for students.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Education or related field • Valid North Carolina teaching license or eligibility for licensure • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching strategies
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom • Knowledge of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices • Strong organizational and time management skills
