Job Summary:

We are now accepting applications for a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher for the 2025–26 school year. This role will serve students in grades 5 through 8, with a focus on building foundational knowledge and inquiry-based skills across life, earth, and physical sciences. Applicants with a Single Subject Science Credential are highly encouraged to apply. Multiple Subject Credential holders with a strong interest in science instruction and internship candidates working toward their credentials will also be considered.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging science instruction aligned with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).
• Differentiate curriculum and instruction to meet a wide range of learners.
• Incorporate hands-on experiments, lab work, and technology into science learning.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports inquiry and critical thinking.
• Participate in school-wide professional development, collaboration, and ongoing assessment practices.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and team members to support academic and behavioral progress.
• Uphold school policies and foster a positive school culture.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Valid California Single Subject Science Credential
• OR California Multiple Subject Credential with strong science instruction experience
• Classroom experience working with upper elementary or middle school students preferred
