Science Teacher - Part-time

H.B. Thompson Middle School and Syosset High School

Available on August 25, 2026

The Syosset Central School District seeks a part-time Science Teacher for H.B. Thompson Middle School and Syosset High School. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Hold NYSED certifications in Biology and General Science required

• Prior successful experience teaching Science

• Knowledge of the NYS Science Framework and Learning Standards

• Expertise in differentiated instruction to support the success and growth of all students

• Possess innovative skills using instructional technology

• Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary as per the Syosset Teachers Association Contract
