Duties

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching science to young students and will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans that align with state and national standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Next Generation Science Standards.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students in the learning process.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a positive and effective learning environment.
• Participate in school-wide events and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Education.
• Valid teaching certification in science for middle school.
• Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.

Salary/Benefits

Salary starts $50,858 and is commensurate with experience and level of education
