The Unified School District of Antigo is hiring a dedicated teacher to join our high school science team for the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or a related field, with a valid Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
Strong content knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and other general science disciplines.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that incorporates student-centered and inquiry-based learning.
Experience designing and implementing hands-on laboratory activities, ensuring student safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
Proficiency in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and using technology to enhance student engagement.
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ability to work within Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze student data, share best practices, and improve instruction.
Commitment to scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking in the classroom.
Participation in curriculum development, professional development, and school-wide initiatives to contribute to a positive school culture.
