Licensed and qualified science teachers should be competent at organizing and delivering education curriculums to groups of students in an effective way. They must understand the fundamentals of their teaching subject/standards and be able to explain them to students in a method leading to content mastery. A science teacher also needs to carefully supervise and assess student performance. Their key responsibilities include the following:
communicating daily lessons and instructions clearly in an understandable, effective way
clear learning objectives should be established and developed with their students while collaborating with school administration in enforcing rules of behavior, class participation expectations and conduct expectations for students
developing flexible, effective teaching tools and methods to help students learn mathematics while creating and assigning learning projects, essays, tests, quizzes and homework for students, then grading their performance accurately on these assignments will be expected
working with students individually if they need extra help and support in their science coursework
