Deliver engaging science instruction aligned with district and state standards across one or more scientific disciplines.
Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on learning.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and scientific curiosity.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.
Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, families, and support staff to promote student success.
Maintain accurate student records and comply with district policies and educational regulations.
Foster students' understanding of scientific concepts while preparing them for academic and real-world success.
Position: Contract (Option to Renew)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday
Location: Washington, DC
Grade Level: Elementary, Middle, or High School opportunities available
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Science, or a related field
Experience teaching science in a school setting preferred
Strong classroom management, instructional planning, and communication skills
Ability to create engaging, standards-based science lessons
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
