This role offers the opportunity to work directly with scientists and R&D organizations while helping deploy software that powers innovation across some of the world's largest industrial companies.

What You Will Do

  • Lead implementations of the company's scientific data platform for enterprise R&D organizations.
  • Partner directly with scientists, chemists, engineers, and research teams to understand laboratory workflows and business processes.
  • Migrate, structure, and validate scientific datasets while configuring the platform to support customer-specific research workflows.
  • Interpret complex experimental data and determine the most effective way to represent it within the platform.
  • Collaborate with senior implementation managers on large enterprise deployments while independently managing smaller customer implementations.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, provide technical guidance, and deliver product training throughout implementation projects.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate product enhancement opportunities to Engineering and Product teams.
  • Support data migration, workflow optimization, and successful customer adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a trusted technical partner throughout implementations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in implementation processes and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related STEM discipline.
  • 0–1 years of professional experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Hands-on research or laboratory experience through internships, academic research, or laboratory assistant roles.
  • Strong understanding of scientific data, experimental design, and laboratory workflows.
  • Experience working with structured datasets using Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting technical concepts to customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex scientific workflows into software solutions.
  • Comfortable working in customer-facing environments and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred

  • Degree from a highly regarded university with strong academic performance.
  • Experience using scientific software, ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks), LIMS, or laboratory data management systems.
  • Python or scripting experience for data analysis and workflow automation.
  • Customer-facing experience through teaching, consulting, technical support, tutoring, or collaborative research.
  • Integrated Master's degree or additional postgraduate research experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software implementations or scientific informatics platforms.
  • Interest in enterprise SaaS, scientific software, and digital transformation within industrial R&D.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
