The Scientific Programmer II bridges the gap between scientific development and operational production by integrating, testing, validating, and supporting scientific software applications in a remote work environment. This role collaborates with Science Teams, developers, and stakeholders to document requirements, establish test baselines, verify outputs, and ensure code changes are successfully transitioned into reliable operational environments.
Success is demonstrated through accurate integrations, effective stakeholder coordination, high-quality testing and documentation, and the delivery of dependable production-ready solutions.
