Scientist 2 - Chemistry

Title: Scientist 2 Chemistry – Laboratory Analyst
Location: Malvern, PA
Duration: 12+ months
Payrate: $40/hr to $44/hr

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or
• Master’s degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.

Communication Skills

• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with a minimum of two of the following techniques is required:
  • Plate-based biochemical assays (impurity, HCP)
  • ELISA
  • FRET
  • Cell based potency assays

Laboratory & Compliance

• Experience working in a cGMP environment is required.
• Perform experiments and data review according to SOPs and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic laboratory notebook is preferred.
• Excellence in bioassay trouble shooting is preferred.
• Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with studies is preferred.
