Scientist - I (Assistant)

JSG has a client in Lansdale PA looking for a Scientist - I (Assistant)
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate science enthusiasts eager to contribute to innovative laboratory research and process optimization. You'll be involved in hands-on downstream processing, process monitoring, and data analysis, supporting our mission to deliver life-changing solutions.

Pay $32.14/hour

Required Skills:

• B.S. in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related science
• 0-3 years of work experience, including at least six months in a biologics laboratory setting
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques including pipetting, reagent preparation, and process setup
• Experience with tangential flow filtration is a plus
• Strong skills in Excel, formulas, and spreadsheet linking
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience performing biologics purification steps
• Familiarity with GLP standards
• Ability to work flexible hours for laboratory setup and experiments
• Experience analyzing and reporting experimental data

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
• Up to 3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in vaccine or biologics downstream processing

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ability to set up equipment for lab-scale experiments
• Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records
