Job Title:Scientist - I – Downstream Processing
Location:West Point, PA.
Pay Rate: $32.14/hr
Duration: 1 Year
Set up process equipment for laboratory-scale experiments.
Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and culture media.
Perform laboratory-scale downstream processing of vaccine process intermediates.
Execute biologics purification processes and support process development activities.
Perform process monitoring assays and record test results in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Analyze, compile, track, and report experimental data.
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
0–3 years of laboratory experience in biologics, bioprocessing, or a related life sciences environment.
Hands-on experience with biologics purification techniques.
(Experience operating Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems.)
Experience preparing laboratory reagents, buffers, solutions, and culture media.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Experience performing laboratory-scale downstream processing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and linked spreadsheets.
Experience with laboratory pipettes and standard laboratory equipment.
Experience supporting vaccine process development or vaccine manufacturing.
Familiarity with process monitoring assays and laboratory data analysis.
