JSG is recruiting for a Scientist in Rahway NJ. Are you passionate about advancing scientific discovery and making a tangible impact on animal health? In this role, you will leverage your expertise in LC-MS/MS assay development and validation within a GMP-compliant environment to support groundbreaking preclinical and safety studies.

Pay $53.45/hour

Required Skills:
  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or related scientific discipline with at least 5 years of industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in developing, validating, and implementing LC-MS/MS methods under GLP standards.
  • Strong skills in sample preparation, instrument setup, data analysis, and troubleshooting LC-MS/MS assays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Watson or other LIMS systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working in a GLP laboratory environment.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience collaborating across functional teams such as Drug Safety, Metabolism, and Quality Assurance.
  • Motivated to learn and continually develop scientific expertise.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years of industrial experience, particularly in bioanalytical laboratories.
  • Or Master’s degree with over 10 years of applicable experience in a similar setting.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, SOPs, and departmental guidelines.
