JSG is recruiting for a Scientist II. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing bioanalytical science within a dynamic, industry-leading organization. As a key contributor in our GLP-compliant laboratory, you will lead the development and validation of ligand binding assays, supporting critical projects and ensuring scientific excellence.

Pay $53.45/hour

Required Skills:
  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or related scientific discipline with at least 3 years of industrial experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a bioanalytical setting
  • Proven experience in developing, validating, and implementing ligand binding assays under GLP standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Watson or other Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Strong motivation to learn and professional development mindset
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS assay development and execution
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or similar discipline
  • Extensive hands-on experience in bioanalytical laboratories, particularly in assay development and troubleshooting
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks effectively
  • Proven track record of precise documentation and compliance with GLP, SOPs, and safety protocols
  • Willingness to collaborate across functional teams and interact with external partners as needed
