We are looking to fill a Scientist III - Analytical Chemist Drug Product position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Qualifications - B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Scientist 3 - B.S. with 3-5 years of relevant experience or M.S. with 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with GMP chromatographic analysis by U/HPLC and other analytical lab techniques

  • Hands-on experience in chromatographic analysis and problem solving

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

  • Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail, speaks up when encounters a problem or has suggestions for improvement

  • Good organization and project management skills to work on multiple ongoing projects in parallel including routine testing (i.e.- assay/impurity testing) and data processing/interpretation

  • Data integrity assessments, investigative report authoring, and/or sample management responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying self-motivation, efficiency, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Empower software

  • Dissolution and moisture testing

  • Analysis of drug products

  • Good understanding of cGMP compliance requirements and ALCOA documentation principle
