Scientist - III (Senior)

JSG is seeking a Scientist - III (Senior) for our client in Lansdale PA – 1 year plus contract assignment

Pay $72.62/hour

What You’ll Do:
In this senior-level position, you’ll spearhead analytical method development, perform routine laboratory testing with a focus on separation and biochemical techniques, and ensure the integrity of all data generated. You'll manage reagent preparation, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance, while maintaining a safe, organized laboratory environment. Your expertise will guide data processing, documentation, and reporting to support critical project milestones.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques including HPLC/UPLC (reverse phase, SEC), CE, cIEF, and Simple Western
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Empower, 32 Carat, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving project needs
• Proven track record of delivering complex objectives under tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS), RI, UV, and CAD detection
• DLS and Zeta Potential analysis expertise
• Knowledge of small-molecule (e.g., lipids) and biologic (e.g., proteins, mRNA) analysis techniques
• Familiarity with electrophoresis and separation methods like HIC
• Large molecule experience including light scattering and UV/FLD detectors

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with at least 2 years in the industry, or
• M.S. with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sectors, or
• B.S. with at least 7 years’ industry experience in similar roles
