Innovative Medicine is seeking a talented Scientist to join our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department in the Janssen Supply Chain (JSC-MTO) Division. This role is based in the vibrant and innovative community of Spring House, PA, offering a collaborative and cutting-edge environment.

As a Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing processes for biologics purification. You will design and execute experiments to support upstream and downstream purification development, propose innovative models, and contribute to the advancement of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related Scientific discipline with relevant experience
• Experience in liquid chromatography (Protein A, CEX, AEX) on AKTA PURE or AVANT system
• Experience with large molecule drug substance manufacturing processes
• Knowledge and experience in biologics solution concentration (SP-TFF and UF/DF)

Preferences

• Knowledge and experience in protein characterization with standard analytical methods (Raman, A280, ProG, SEC, NIR, etc.)
• Experience in protein purification and filter sizing (depth, sterile, and nano filtration)
• Experience in Resin Lifetime Studies and GMP processes
• Strong communication skills: report writing and oral presentations
• Team player with experience working in cross-functional teams
