motivated Scientist to develop, characterize, and qualify advanced human
lung complex in vitro models to support drug discovery, disease modeling, and
translational safety assessment. This fully onsite role will work with
innovative systems including lung organoids, air-liquid interface (ALI)
cultures, co-culture models, and lung-on-a-chip/microphysiological platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop,
optimize, qualify, and implement human lung complex in vitro models for
drug development and safety assessment.
- Culture
and characterize primary lung cells, cell lines, organoids, ALI cultures,
and microphysiological systems.
- Design
and execute model characterization studies assessing cell viability,
morphology, barrier integrity, and functional responses.
- Apply
techniques including qRT-PCR, RNA-seq, proteomics, immunofluorescence,
confocal microscopy, live-cell/time-lapse imaging, high-content imaging,
and permeability/TEER assays.
