Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “Scientist" based out of Pleasanton, CA.<\/b><\/span>

Pay Rate : $49/hr on W2 DOE<\/span><\/b>

Support assay development activities through laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and documentation in a regulated R&D environment. The ideal candidate will have hands -on molecular biology experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of DNA/RNA -based techniques.<\/span>
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/p>

• Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols, safety guidelines, and data integrity standards.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform DNA/RNA isolation and molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, and preferably digital PCR.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Analyze experimental data using statistical tools such as JMP and document results in electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN).<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, and supporting documentation for design history files.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Troubleshoot experimental issues and contribute to project timelines and objectives.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Present findings to supervisors and project teams as needed.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support routine laboratory operations, inventory management, safety compliance, and quality system requirements.<\/span>

  Qualifications:<\/span><\/u><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • 0–5 years of laboratory experience in assay development, molecular biology, or related research environments.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Hands -on experience with DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and molecular biology techniques.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong data analysis and documentation skills.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as JMP preferred.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, data integrity practices, and regulated environments is a plus.<\/span>
