Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist  to join a Translational Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics (tPKPD) team supporting innovative drug discovery and development programs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the characterization and optimization of pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) properties of therapeutic candidates through the development and application of advanced in vitro assays.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing biochemical and cell-based assays, developing and optimizing automated assay workflows, analyzing experimental data, and communicating scientific findings to cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for a scientist who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to generating high-quality, reproducible data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform biochemical and cell-based assays to support therapeutic candidate characterization and development activities.
  • Develop and implement automated assay workflows to improve laboratory efficiency, throughput, and reproducibility.
  • Analyze, interpret, and document experimental data using appropriate scientific methods and statistical approaches.
  • Prepare technical reports, experimental summaries, and laboratory documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Present scientific data, assay results, and project updates to cross-functional stakeholders and project teams.
  • Collaborate with scientists and research partners to support project goals and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot assay performance issues and recommend process improvements when needed.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and assay platforms in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing laboratory environment.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on assay development experience within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industry setting.

Technical Skills

  • Ligand Binding & Bioanalytical Assays: Proven experience and expertise with Ligand Binding Assays (e.g., ELISA) and bioanalytical assay development are required.

  • Automation: Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting automated assay platforms is highly desired.

  • Execution & Reliability: Strong dedication to generating high-quality, reproducible data efficiently while managing multiple project timelines and working effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cell Biology Techniques: Previous experience with cell culture maintenance and passaging is a major plus.

  • Biophysical & Analytical Methods: Prior experience with mass spectrometry, biomolecular interaction platforms (e.g., Octet, Biacore), and other biochemical assay formats are preferred.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and task-prioritization skills.
