Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Management Distribution Technician 1 is responsible for supply chain operations and logistics functions to include, receiving, distribution, product delivery, and par/point of use replenishment and stocking. Distributes supplies and materials to proper departments in an efficient and effective manner. Reports variances to inventory control including damages, defects, and missing items.Incumbents hired into the level 1 have the opportunity to promote into the Tech 2 position once the necessary skills and abilities are demonstrated.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

 

Experience

  • 6 months of previous experience as a Stock Clerk or related experience such as inventory, delivery and sorting preferred

  • Computer entry skills for maintaining inventory records preferred
