SCPFO Procurement Analyst

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join AEP's Supply Chain and Procurement team in Columbus, OH, supporting sourcing, supplier analysis, contract negotiations, spend analytics, and procurement reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field and 3+ years of procurement and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes spend, pricing, suppliers, contracts, and performance metrics
• Conducts market and supplier research
• Supports sourcing strategy and contract negotiations
• Performs bid and cost analysis
• Builds pricing/TCO models and reports
• Communicates analysis and recommendations to stakeholders
• Supports procurement projects and process improvements

NOTE: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be considered for this position.

Job Type: 2 years contract with potential to convert

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field OR 4 years relevant experience
• 3+ years procurement and/or customer service experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Strong written/verbal communication
• Ability to work with suppliers, stakeholders, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Fleet Operations
