Scrap Metal Scale Operator

SCALE OPERATOR NEEDED FOR METALS RECYCLING PLANT!

The ideal candidate will be:

• Familiar with scrap metal commodities and scale operations, we will require references
• Energetic and able to keep up with fast paced operations
• Computer literate with word and excel type programs
• A responsible individual who pays attention to detail and shows initiative

We participate in E Verify. Post Offer Basic Physical, Drug Test, and Background. PPE required.

Summary/Objective Working in all weather conditions at the direction of supervisor to accomplish the production goals for the company.

• Metals Recycling scale operator.
• Wearing personal protective equipment.

• Able to follow supervisor directions.
• Must be on time to work and have great attendance.
• Must have positive attitude and willing to work hard.
• High School Diploma

Work Environment

This job may periodically expose you to all elements and working outside in any weather.

Physical Demands

Physically demanding work. Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Standing for long periods of time. Pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting, grasping, repetitive motion, hearing, talking, close visual acuity. Subject to noise and hazards.
