We have an immediate opening for a Screw Machine Operator/Machinist to operate multi-spindle automatic screw machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient, uninterrupted machine operation across shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor multi-spindle automatic screw machines to run efficiently and consistently
Produce parts to print, meeting all quality, dimensional, and tolerance specifications
Inspect and gauge parts throughout the production run using precision measurement tools to ensure ongoing compliance
Adjust machine settings, feeds, speeds, cams, and tooling as needed to maintain quality and throughput
Replace, sharpen, and maintain tooling, drills, taps, inserts, and coolant systems
Load, monitor, and replenish bar stock to avoid production interruptions
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor adjustments or repairs to minimize downtime
Complete production and quality documentation accurately (log sheets, inspection records, etc.)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators across shift changes
Qualifications
Previous experience operating multi-spindle automatic screw machines required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Experience using precision measurement and inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles (speeds, feeds, tooling)
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in machining a plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple running machines simultaneously

Day and night shift options available
Shift differential offered for night shift
Compensation
$25–$27/hr, based on experience
Plus night shift differential
