- Set up and operate screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a screw machinist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
