A Tapper / Machine Operator to support high-volume production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, threading, or secondary operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate tapping machines and secondary equipment to produce threaded components to specification.
Perform setups, tool changes, and minor machine adjustments as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers.
Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain production efficiency and throughput while minimizing scrap.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tapping equipment.
Follow all quality procedures, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.
Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Support team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and quality personnel.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Tapper, Machine Operator, CNC Operator, or Production Technician.
Strong understanding of metal parts, threading processes, and machining operations.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Experience working in an automotive or manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production setting.
Environment is hot.
Can wear shorts/t-shirts.
On feet for all shift.
Safety glasses required.
