Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking Client
Duration: 12+ months contract to hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience (4+ years may be considered for exceptional candidates).
- Proven experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery programs.
- Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Agile delivery management, and dependency tracking.
- Experience managing multiple teams, workstreams, or Agile pods simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution and remove delivery impediments.
- Experience working with highly technical engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Prior experience as a Technical Product Owner (TPO), Technical Program Manager (TPM), or Release Train Engineer (RTE).
Day To Day:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Drive execution and delivery across a large engineering organization consisting of multiple Agile pods and cross-functional teams.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery timelines across various technology workstreams.
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Track and report sprint progress, delivery metrics, capacity planning, and team performance.
- Support release planning and delivery coordination within a scaled Agile environment.
- Help teams maintain focus, prioritize work effectively, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate communication across multiple teams and external dependencies.
- Ensure Agile best practices are followed while maintaining a practical, execution-driven approach.
- Partner with technical teams to understand highly technical features, stories, and platform capabilities.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60 to $63 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
