DPP is seeking an Scrum Master for an onsite opportunity with our client in Columbia, SC.
 
Location: Onsite in Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Term: W2 contract
Candidate location: Must be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role.
 
Position Summary:
  • The Scrum Master will support the portfolio of the operational and project needs to drive efficiency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the application of Scrum agile processes with project and/or operational teams, ensuring the team can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • This role is responsible for removing impediments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies to include daily standups, spring planning, backlog refinement and spring retrospectives.
  • This role will work closely with the product owners, stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.
  • You will serve as a coach and mentor to our team, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum activities such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Ensure team follows Scrum framework and agile principles.
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospective and feedback sessions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
Required experience:
  • 3+ Years of Experience as a Scrum Master
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Azure DevOps
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Leading Scrum Ceremonies.
  • 3+ Years of Experience with DB Querying and Programming
  • 3+ Years of Experience with Agile Project Management Tools
  • 3+ Years of Experience with hybrid project management (Agile combined with Waterfall)
Required education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree - field of study is open but the degree must be complete and verifiable
Preferred skills:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certification in Agile methodologies, like Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • Government experience
  • ERP experience
Preferred certifications:
  • Certification in agile methodologies such as certified Scrum Master or professional Scrum Master
