Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile delivery teams, remove impediments, strengthen team accountability, and improve predictable delivery. The consultant will partner with product owners, engineering leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver complex technology initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
· Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release-planning sessions.
· Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Agile principles, servant leadership, and continuous improvement.
· Partner with product owners to maintain a prioritized, refined, and delivery-ready backlog.
· Identify and remove delivery impediments while escalating cross-team risks and dependencies appropriately.
· Track sprint goals, velocity, capacity, burn-down, burn-up, cycle time, throughput, defects, and delivery predictability.
· Coordinate dependencies among product, engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, security, and business teams.
· Promote Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, quality standards, transparency, and sustainable delivery practices.
· Support release planning, program increment planning, risk management, and stakeholder status reporting.
· Use team metrics and retrospective outcomes to drive measurable improvements without misusing metrics for individual performance.
· Help resolve conflict, improve collaboration, and build a high-performing, self-organizing team culture.

Qualifications
· 7+ years of IT delivery experience, including 4+ years as a Scrum Master for software or data teams.
· Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile planning, estimation, dependency management, and release management.
· Experience supporting multiple teams or complex enterprise initiatives.
· Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, dashboards, Agile metrics, and reporting.
· Demonstrated ability to coach product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
· Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Experience working with distributed teams and coordinating delivery across multiple functions.
· Ability to work from Plano, Texas, according to the client engagement schedule.
