Position Description:
Serves as an experienced Agile leader responsible for supporting delivery of complex technology and business capabilities through effective application of Agile principles and practices. Facilitates Scrum processes, coaches teams and stakeholders, removes impediments, and drives continuous improvement across one or more Agile teams. Partners with Product Owners, technology leaders, business stakeholders, and Agile team members to promote accountability, transparency, collaboration, and delivery consistency aligned with organizational priorities.
Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile practices for one or more Agile teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other planning activities as needed.
- Coach teams in Agile principles, Scrum practices, team accountability, and self-organization to strengthen delivery effectiveness and support high-performing team behaviors.
- Partner with Product Owners and key stakeholders to support shared understanding of priorities, sprint objectives, delivery expectations, and dependencies.
- Identify, manage, and help remove impediments affecting team progress, escalating issues as appropriate to support timely resolution.
- Support coordination across teams, functions, and stakeholders to improve communication, manage dependencies, and reduce delivery friction.
- Use Agile metrics and team performance data, including velocity, burndown trends, cycle time, and team health indicators, to identify patterns, support decision-making, and recommend improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, identifying root causes of recurring issues, and supporting implementation of process enhancements.
- Help strengthen Agile maturity by reinforcing consistent practices, encouraging adoption of Agile ways of working, and supporting teams through change.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to teams and stakeholders on Agile processes, team dynamics, delivery risks, and opportunities to improve effectiveness.
- Support larger or more complex initiatives by helping teams navigate competing priorities, shifting requirements, interdependencies, and delivery constraints.
- Partner with leadership and other Scrum Masters, if applicable, to share best practices, improve delivery consistency, and support broader Agile capability development across the organization.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, or informal coaching to Scrum Masters, team members, or stakeholders on Agile practices and team effectiveness as appropriate.
- Contribute to enhancement of Agile standards, tools, templates, and operating practices to improve delivery quality and consistency.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six (6) or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting Agile delivery, Scrum practices, team facilitation, and/or project execution in a complex technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Experience coaching Agile teams in Scrum principles, team accountability, and continuous improvement.
