Scrum Master - P&C Insurance, GenAI

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience to support Agile delivery for a Generative AI (GenAI) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical delivery background, lead Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and drive collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Business teams.

• Lead Agile/Scrum practices for technical teams delivering GenAI solutions within the P&C Insurance domain.
• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Partner with Product Owners, Developers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to maintain delivery alignment.
• Identify and remove impediments impacting sprint execution and team productivity.
• Drive Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and effective backlog/sprint management.
• Support release planning and coordination across development, non-production, and production environments.
• Track delivery risks, dependencies, commitments, and overall sprint performance.
• Support compliance with applicable insurance industry standards and processes.

• 6+ years of Scrum Master experience, including strong experience on P&C Insurance projects.
• Proven experience leading Agile teams on complex technical initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and broader Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and release management.
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across business and technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CSM or equivalent Agile certification preferred.

• Experience supporting GenAI / AI initiatives.
• Advanced Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP or SAFe.
• Experience with GitHub, Rally, DevOps tooling, CI/CD processes, and production/non-production environments.
• Hands-on understanding of technical delivery and DevOps practices.
