Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. The ideal candidate with experience leading Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and driving successful project delivery through continuous improvement.
Rate Range: $45/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Scrum Master Job Responsibilities include:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure effective team execution.
Coach and mentor teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Manage and track sprint progress, team capacity, velocity, and delivery metrics using Jira and Confluence.
Identify, assess, and resolve risks, impediments, and dependencies to keep projects on track.
Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to prioritize backlogs and align business objectives.
Support Agile Release Train (ART) activities, facilitate stakeholder communication, and ensure compliance with GxP and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
8-10 years of experience in Agile project delivery, Scrum Master, or Agile coaching roles.
Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe/Agile Release Train (ART), Jira, Confluence, sprint planning, backlog management, and Agile metrics reporting.
Experience working in GxP-regulated environments with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, resolve impediments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
