Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedScrum Master / Kanban Coach to support Agile delivery teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, promoting Agile best practices, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement. This individual will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure work is well-defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, Agile principles, and team working agreements.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritize work, and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Track sprint progress, team commitments, and delivery metrics while identifying and communicating risks or blockers.
- Remove impediments and facilitate conflict resolution to keep teams productive and focused.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve team processes and delivery.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Promote transparency through effective communication and status reporting.
- Support multiple Scrum teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 4 7 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar Agile delivery role.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
- Experience with backlog refinement, user story creation, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile planning, estimation, and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven ability to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and foster high-performing teams.
- Excellent facilitation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams preferred.
- Infrastructure, networking, or operations experience is a plus.
- Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or KMP are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Strong servant leadership mindset with the ability to coach teams toward Agile maturity.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
