Project Manager – Fiber & Network Services (Lit & Dark Fiber)
Pay Range: $42/hour to $48/hour 

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Lit and Dark Fiber customer projects across network services including Waves, Ethernet, IP Services, and Fiber infrastructure (metro and long-haul). This role is responsible for managing complex customer implementations from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in telecommunications or fiber services project delivery, excellent customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams across internal and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Execution
  • Own end-to-end project lifecycle including kickoff, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans based on contractual and technical requirements
  • Track scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, and budget throughout project lifecycle
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project delivery
Customer Management & Communication
  • Serve as primary customer-facing project contact and advocate (“Voice of the Customer”)
  • Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and milestones to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage expectations, prioritize requests, and resolve conflicts and escalations
  • Build strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and leadership stakeholders
Fiber & Network Services Expertise
  • Manage delivery of Lit and Dark Fiber services including metro and long-haul infrastructure
  • Support implementation of Waves, Ethernet, and IP-based services
  • Apply strong understanding of telecom service delivery processes and technical requirements
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure alignment across internal teams to remove delivery blockers
Performance Management & Reporting
  • Track and report project KPIs, milestones, and delivery performance metrics
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools for internal and customer visibility
  • Provide input into Customer Business Reviews with performance data and analysis
  • Support forecasting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Collaborate across internal departments and external vendors to ensure project success
  • Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for project-related issues

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in telecommunications, fiber networks, or infrastructure services
  • Experience managing customer-facing technical implementation projects
  • Strong understanding of Lit Fiber and/or Dark Fiber services (metro and/or long-haul)
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with customer-facing experience
  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in telecom, ISP, or network infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with Waves, Ethernet, IP services, or optical transport networks
  • Experience with project reporting tools, dashboards, or CRM/project systems
  • Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale customer implementations
  • PMP or similar project management certification
