The selected engineer will work closely with the Design Team to implement, configure, and validate an SD-WAN technology stack within a dedicated test environment. This deployment will not be integrated into the live production network.
During the first phase of the project, the engineer will work directly alongside Lead Design Engineers to assist with deployment activities and gain familiarity with the solution. During the final phase of the project, the engineer will serve as the onsite Lead Engineer, supported by a local technician and remote Design Team resources.
Responsibilities
Assist with racking and stacking network equipment
Perform patch cabling and cable management
Configure networking equipment according to deployment plans
Support implementation of the SD-WAN solution
Execute testing and validation procedures within the lab environment
Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues as needed
Coordinate closely with the Design Team throughout all deployment phases
Document deployment activities and test results
Lead onsite deployment efforts at the final project location with remote engineering support
