Job description:
This role involves working as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a focus on POS Automation and Functional Testing. The candidate will have experience in Agile methodologies and will be responsible for test automation across various platforms, including Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a background in the retail domain. The role requires immediate availability and a mandatory background check.
 
Required Skills:

• Automation SDET
• POS Automation and Functional Testing
• POS Hardware and Peripheral Testing Experience
• 8 years of experience in Agile Functional Testing, POS Test Automation, Development with Quality Engineering background
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Robot Framework, Selenium, Java, API, Python
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Retail domain experience
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

• Experience in creating and managing bug reports
• Ability to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Understanding of DevOps and CICD auto build process
• Experience in working closely with deployment teams and resolving system issues
• Experience in sending various status reports, including Test Closure, Weekly, and Monthly reports
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work independently

• Perform test automation during the sprint across multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop
• Work in a retail domain environment
• Create and manage bug reports and communicate effectively with the team
• Collaborate with deployment teams to resolve system issues
• Prepare and send status reports, including Test Closure, Weekly, and Monthly reports
• Coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work independently
