Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a SDS Processes & Role-Based Tool Senior Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

What You Will Get To Do:
This role is the Senior Manager over Processes & Role-Based Tools within the SDS Division's Engineering Homeroom. This homeroom supports roughly 4000 engineers and technical staff across multiple sites and campuses.
Develop overall strategy for driving technical rigor, process standardization, and compliance throughout division engineering organization
Lead overall strategy and roadmap development of the Model-Based Processes and Role Based Ecosystem
Be a leader of leaders of multi-discipline, process SMEs
Lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining the division's Engineering Model-Based Processes using Nimbus
Lead the development, maintenance, and strategy for the division's Role Based Ecosystem (RBE)-including the continued development and maintenance of a technical roles competency model
Lead the team of process SMEs that enable division PrOP / division engineering process document publications
Developing a technical skills competency model for the Engineering Homeroom and partnering with the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) to incorporate their Critical Skills List into the model
Develop and report metrics on Process Efficacy, Role-Based Ecosystem, PrOP, Competency Model, and Model-Based Processes
Forge strong partnerships across multiple functional stakeholders to ensure leadership and coordination on homeroom initiatives
Be the primary focal to process stakeholders for audit support (Mission Assurance / Quality Assurance)
Primary focal to Sector and Enterprise for Role Based Tool scaling and Process strategy

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM and a minimum 8 years of aerospace manufacturing or related field; Master''s Degree with 6 years in a related field
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
5 years'' combined experience working in Engineering function
2 years of experience working in an Agile environment
2 years of experience developing processes and/or governance to be utilized by multiple teams.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
3 years in a formal leadership managing direct reports
Experience developing and driving strategy and scaling solutions across multiple organizations (across functions and divisions)
Experience in senior leadership and being a leader of leaders
Experience in stakeholder management and influencing across organizational lines (across functions, divisions, and sectors)
Experience with model-based process applications (e.g., Nimbus, Visio)
Experience process development, process audit, and process improvement
Experience developing content (e.g., processes, training, and technical competencies) for multiple technical roles
Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate''s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
