Description

The global supply chain also encompasses cultured and wild species sourced from an international network of trusted suppliers.

Summary:

Processes seafood by cleaning, trimming, segregating and packing product in packaging materials. Note: This is a shore plant position at our value-added plant in Anacortes, Washington and does NOT include housing, transportation or food assistance.

Essential Functions: (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs):

  • Cleans, scrapes, trims and fillets product.
  • Opens and removes raw materials from packaging and places on belts.
  • Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.
  • Discards and culls inferior or defective items and foreign matter.
  • Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to perform Tier I essential functions at a higher level of productivity and quality.
  • Tasks and assignments must be performed in a safe manner at all times.

This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $18 - $27.24 per hour.
