Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

We are seeking a dependable Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced with industrial sewing machines, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce quality finished products
• Perform light machine maintenance, including basic adjustments, cleaning, and routine upkeep
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and production schedules
• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce upholstered components for office chairs
• Sew, join, reinforce, and finish upholstery materials
• Set up machines, including needles, attachments, and pattern configurations
• Adjust stitching speeds and machine settings based on project requirements
• Follow specifications to ensure consistent quality and craftsmanship

Requirements

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred
• Ability to perform light maintenance and routine cleaning on sewing machines
• Good attention to detail and consistency in work quality
• Ability to stand and work for the duration of the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Schedule

• Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Workdays: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Time Off: Two consecutive days off during the week

Pay

• $18.00 per hour
