About the Role:
Join Unique Window Treatments as a Seamstress, where your creativity and craftsmanship will bring beautiful window designs to life. We are looking for a passionate individual to help us achieve our mission of providing high-quality, custom window treatments that enhance the beauty of homes in Vero Beach, FL. Monday -Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Spanish or English speaking.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and alter window treatments including drapes, curtains, and shades with precision.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Measure and cut fabric according to specifications and design requirements.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards before delivery.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any sewing or design issues that arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance skills and offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a seamstress or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, fabrics, and patterns.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and tools effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
