Job Summary:
Seeking a proficient Search Platform DevOps Engineer to enhance our capacity within the Search Engineering Department. This role meshes engineering and operations for Search, Data & Content (SDC) products focusing on automation, covering everything from Kubernetes managed services to ML/AIOps innovation. You'll be pivotal in automating lifecycle operations, deploying scalable infrastructures, and ensuring system resilience across our broad technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate service life cycle operations using custom tools and scripts.
  • Work on distributed systems, including Kubernetes, and large-scale services like real-time messaging, databases (SQL & no-SQL), and web services.
  • Spearhead the deployment and management of infrastructure on public clouds (AWS, Azure), focusing on system design and architecture.
  • Engage in end-to-end management of AI and ML services, enhancing MLOps & DevOps practices.
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies in ML and AIOps to address company global operational needs.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and container runtime environments.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git.
  • Strong background in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Industry Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in Engineering, with a B.S./M.S. in Engineering.
  • Experience in large-scale system design, deployment, and management, particularly in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
This role is based in San Jose, CA and offers a hybrid work setup.
