Position: Software Engineer — Agentic Search Systems
Type:Contract
Compensation:$80–$150/hour
Location:Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize agentic search systems for production environments.
• Own relevance and retrieval processes to ensure systems meet user needs.
• Quantify the impact and improvements of search systems effectively.
• Build and scale data infrastructure to support modern search capabilities.
• Work independently and asynchronously to enhance search quality and evaluation.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Experience with production search systems and agentic search.
• Proven ability to own relevance or retrieval on user-dependent systems.
• Strong skills in quantifying system impact and improvements.

Interview Process

• 25 mins conversational interview. No coding or take-home tasks.
• Follow-up 30 mins paid live conversation with the team for standout interviews.

Compensation & Legal
