We are currently seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant to assist with the daily operations of Maydale Nature Classroom. This role will assist with answering patron inquiries via email and phone, updating the Maydale website & Google Business pages, assist with budget tracking, assisting with program registration and refunds, creating original program fliers and bulletin boards to help promote Maydale Nature Classroom's programs. This position is part-time, year-round, with flexible hours and check-in meetings that occur during a Monday – Friday schedule. The ideal candidate is available 2 – 5 hours a week to assist with administrative tasks. The schedule of specific dates and times is flexible – based on the needs of the site and availability of the candidate. Maydale Nature Classroom is owned and operated by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission in Montgomery County, Maryland. Maydale Nature Classroom provides interpretive programming for the public, schools, and special groups. Maydale specializes connecting community members with one another and the natural world!
