THE POSITION
The City of Carson is now accepting applications for the part-time Seasonal Aides classification. These positions are available throughout our Community Services, Recreation, & Park Maintenance Department and offers a great opportunity for individuals ages 16 and older who want to gain hands-on experience, support community programs, and develop valuable workplace skills. This entry-level, part-time role offers a chance to be involved in recreational activities, sports, and special events throughout the city while making a positive impact in your community.
These positions are part-time/temporary, at-will (FLSA: Non-Exempt) positions that are limited to a maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year. Part-time employees are not typically eligible for benefits; however, they may qualify for health coverage and sick leave accruals subject to applicable federal and state provisions.
Job Summary
Under general supervision to perform a variety of routine and repetitive manual or recreational duties on a seasonal basis and to perform related duties as required.
