At Salvia Terrace & Bar, each season brings its own rhythm, flavors, and energy. From the vibrant freshness of spring to the sun-drenched summer and the golden warmth of fall, our terrace is where seasonal cocktails and open-air hospitality come to life.

We are seeking a Seasonal Bartender (July to October) who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor setting, embraces the changing seasons, and crafts cocktails that capture the essence of Napa Valley's finest ingredients. As part of Alila Napa Valley, a Forbes-rated luxury property, our bartenders deliver personalized, elevated service in a setting that blends sophistication with relaxed, open-air hospitality.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 plus tips and service.

Responsibilities:

• Curate and craft seasonal cocktails using fresh, local ingredients that reflect the spirit of the season.

• Provide personalized, luxury service, engaging guests with knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktails.

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, balancing speed with genuine hospitality.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar in an outdoor setting.

• Adhere to state and local serving guidelines, ensuring compliance with all safety and liquor laws.

• Collaborate with the team to enhance the guest experience and beverage offerings.

Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications

A skilled bartender with experience in high-end, fast-paced bar environments.

• Passion for seasonal ingredients and craft cocktails.

• A natural conversationalist who can engage guests and enhance their experience.

• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining grace under pressure.

• Knowledge of California alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices.

• Experience in luxury hospitality or Forbes-rated properties is a plus.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

• Refined verbal communication skills.

• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

• Must be able to work in an outdoor setting during warmer weather
