Seasonal Fall & Holiday Position | Part-Time

Braker’s Market is looking for a dependable, hardworking, customer-focused team member to join us for the fall and holiday season in a combined Café & Bulk Foods role.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people, learning different areas of the store, and being part of a team. You’ll split your time between helping in the Café and supporting our

Schedule & Availability

Required days:

• Tuesdays
• Fridays
• Some Saturday Availability

Additional hours may be available on other weekdays for the right person based on availability and business needs.

• Typical shifts: 4–8 hours
• Primarily daytime hours, with some flexibility depending on department need
• Schedule may vary based on business needs and employee availability

Pay

$15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Age

Must be at least 16 years old.

Store Hours

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Café Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently, including sandwiches, breakfast items, coffee drinks, soups, and café specials
• Provide friendly, welcoming customer service
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, allergy awareness, and food handling procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café
• Rotate, date, and properly store food and supplies
• Assist with inventory, restocking, spoilage, and equipment procedures
• Help keep the café running smoothly during busy periods
• Work as part of a team to maintain quality and efficiency

Grocery & Bulk Foods Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Package, label, and prepare bulk food products for retail sale
• Receive, stock, rotate, and merchandise grocery and bulk food products
• Keep shelves, displays, and work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Maintain accurate and organized product presentation
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist customers with questions and locating products
• Support other store departments and perform additional duties as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds or more
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to safely use ladders when necessary
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift
• Ability to safely perform food preparation, stocking, packaging, and cleaning duties
